Hrysopiyi Devetzi
Women's triple jumper who won silver in the 2004 Olympics in Athens, bronze in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, and bronze at the 2007 World Championships. She was nicknamed "Piyi" when she was a girl. She took gold at the 2007 Military World Games. She grew up in Alexandroupoli, Greece. Fani Chalkia also competed for Greece in the 2004 Olympics, winning gold in the women's 400-meter hurdles.
